dc.description.abstract Knowledge of the communication between the ulnar and median and the resulting anomalous innervations patterns is of major importance for the assessment of traumatic or entrapment lesions of the median and ulnar nerve. In order to avoid misdiagnosis in peripheral nerve lesions of compression neuropathies in the forearm one must be aware of such communications. During routine dissection of a middle aged cadaver a communication was seen to arise from the ulnar nerve reaching the median nerve in the proximal part of the palm. en_US
